Operations Assistant – Product Flow
The Operations Assistant is a part-time position that works with the Director of Operations to keep SLRC running smoothly each day. A big priority is to keep the product flow functioning at optimal levels in order to assist other members of the SLRC team in meeting customer expectations. You are responsible for helping with shipping product, receiving new product, transferring product between locations, maintaining correct stock levels on the sales floor and ensuring that the inventory data is correct during this process. You are okay lifting, carrying and moving boxes and racks, willing to drive a delivery truck, detail oriented, love to learn, are a problem solver, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Other minor repair and maintenance issues will also be in the duties of the Operations Assistant occasionally as needed.
The Operations Assistant is a part time position of 20-32 hours a week. Holding a full time job in conjunction with this will not be possible. Work days are 4-5 days a week, Monday-Friday varying between the hours of 8am – 6pm depending on time of year.
Pay: $16/hr to start, up to $18/hr when fully trained.
