Running Up for Air- Kyhv Peak (formerly Squaw Peak)

We are very pleased to offer the Up For Air Kyhv Peak (formerly Squaw Peak and Rock Canyon) trail race again in 2024.
The Up for Air Series is a collection of endurance events created to amplify informed dialogue and empower organizations actively working on air quality solutions. Proceeds from Up for Air events are directed at carefully selected non-profit groups who demonstrate high value influence strategies. The race platform is used to expose participants and the general public to science-based material about the importance of healthy air. All events are conducted with a minimal footprint philosophy.
The 2024 events will be the same as in 2023. There will be 24, 12, 6 and 3 hour events as well three relay events.
Note: New for 2024 we are consolidating starting times, so the six-hour and three-hour Saturday morning events will start at 6am and the 3-hour afternoon event will start at noon.
Squaw Peak was officially renamed Kyhv Peak on September 8, 2022. Kyhv is the Ute word for mountain. The course is 100% the same as in prior years and will include the summit of Kyhv Peak (elevation 7,862).
Note: Race takes place on both Provo City and Forest Service Lands
