High Uinta Half Marathon is a fast race above Kamas/Francis area. We reluctantly use the term Drop13 because of what it represents. Drop13 represents a course that is extremely fast downhill. This course is 99% decline for 13.1 Miles. 2600 feet of decline with very little incline or even flat portions. This course is not just fast but beautiful. Aspens, Pines, rivers, throughout the route. This route starts at one of the highest elevations in Utah for races. Last year July 4 the starting point still had snow all around. This is a great course to get out of the heat and enjoy more of a Spring race in the heart of summer.
