Top of Utah Half Marathon

August 24

  • The course for the Top of Utah Half Marathon is part of the USATF Utah Road Racing Circuit and the Championship Race for Utah.

  • The course starts 7 miles up Blacksmith Fork Canyon at the Hyrum Electrical Plant and finishes at the Providence Zollinger Park.

  • Runners wind down the beautiful canyon with the river flowing at their side the entire length of the canyon. Both sides of the canyon have breathtaking views that are somehow different from each other. The North side is dry and desert-like. The South side is lush and green with large pine forests. There are many cool and rugged rock formations as well. So relax as you run and soak in the glorious scenery.

  • Only registered runners allowed on the course. No strollers, bikes or dogs allowed.

  • There are no road closures for this event. Traffic control at intersections will be managed by UHP and Cache County Sheriff’s.

  • Race course will be open and runners supported for 3 1/2 hours.
